Residents within the New Brighton Area School District have received, or will soon be receiving, the annual per capita tax notices from Berkheimer Tax Administrator.
Previously, these notices would have been distributed by the elected tax collectors in Fallston Borough, New Brighton Borough, and Pulaski Township. These municipalities, and the New Brighton Area School District, have recently appointed Berkheimer to collect the local and school district per capita taxes.
Residents in Daugherty Township will continue to receive the tax notice from their elected tax collector. The mailing that residents are receiving is a legitimate tax notice.
Should residents have any questions or concerns regarding the per capita tax, Berkheimer can be reached by calling (610) 599-3141 or residents can call the municipal offices in the municipality in which the taxpayer resides.
