PULASKI TOWNSHIP RESIDENT HONORED

Angelo Ganz, son of the late John and Irma Ganz, was recently honored for his over fifty years of service to the New Brighton Community.
Angelo has been a resident for over 75 years in Pulaski Township. He was a member of the New Brighton Boosters Association since the mid sixties. He was one of the original members serving with Tom Albanese, the late "Hop" Ashton, and the late Paul Spickerman.
He served as a emember of the Memorial Parks and Playgrounds for over twenty years.
Angelo has been involved with coaching baseball for over thirty years as coach for Little League, Colts, Legion Ball for Post #19 and New Brighton High School. He is a familiar face at sporting events for New Brighton.
He was elected to the PA Sports Hall of Fame and the New Brighton Boosters Hall of Fame in 1996.
Angelo and his wife, Shirley (Burchett) Ganz, have one sone Joe (Joyce) Ganz who resides in Sarasota, Florida, and two grand-daughters, Melanie Ganz and Ashley (Ben) Schaus, Fayetteville, North Carolina. He has one sister, Betty (Charles) Hamilton who lives in Daugherty Township.
We are so proud of Angelo and his service to the community and wsih more people would get involved and contribute their time to the betterment of their community. Thank you Angelo!
